Privacy Policy

We collect information necessary to run the platform and process your requests. This includes:

• Account Information: Name, email address, and profile information when you sign up.
• Usage Data: Prompts submitted, generated outputs, processing histories, and logs.
• Technical Data: IP address, browser type, and device information collected automatically.

We use your data only to provide and improve our service:

• To authenticate your identity and manage your subscription.
• To run backend pipelines (writing scripts, synthesizing voiceovers, generating scene imagery, and rendering video).
• To provide technical support and analyze app usage metrics.

When you submit a prompt or footage, we process it through secure AI analysis nodes (including partners like Groq / Google Gemini). We do not store raw video binaries longer than necessary to compute and export your reels. Historical data persists in your account until deleted by you.

ViralShorts interacts with third-party systems to facilitate core platform operations:

• YouTube API Services: When you connect your YouTube account, ViralShorts requests permission to upload videos to your channel (youtube.upload) and read your channel information (youtube.readonly). See Section 5 below for full details of our YouTube API data practices.
• Supabase: For database storage and core authentication.
• Stripe: For processing subscriptions and billing. We never see or store credit card numbers.

ViralShorts uses YouTube API Services to allow you to publish your generated video clips directly to YouTube. By connecting your YouTube account, you authorize ViralShorts to:

• Upload videos to your YouTube channel on your behalf (youtube.upload).
• Read your channel name and ID to confirm the connection (youtube.readonly).

Data we store: We store your YouTube OAuth refresh token, channel ID, and channel title in our database solely to facilitate uploads you explicitly initiate. We do not access, store, or share any other YouTube data.

Data we do not access: We do not access your subscribers, watch history, playlists, comments, or any YouTube content other than what is required for the upload you request.

Revoking access: You can disconnect your YouTube account at any time from within the ViralShorts app. You can also revoke access directly via your Google Account Security Settings.

Our use of YouTube API Services is governed by the YouTube API Services Terms of Service. By using the YouTube integration, you also agree to YouTube's Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy. ViralShorts' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You have the right to access, download, or request erasure of the personal data we hold. You can request account deletion and all associated historical data by reaching out to our support inbox.
